Landscapes

My landscapes and streetscapes are about places, moments and the experience of being somewhere. Working in watercolour, oils and pastels, I’m drawn to the challenge of capturing light, colour and atmosphere. I particularly enjoy the looseness of watercolour and the way it requires me to work with the medium rather than control it. Whether painting plein air or working from observation, I aim to capture not just how a place looks, but how it feels to be there.
